IL Illinois Minimum Wage
Illinois Minimum wage increased to $8.00 an hour starting on July 1, 2009. The minimum wage will increase by an additional 25 cents on July 1, 2010.
Illinois raised its minimum wage to $7.50 an hour in July 2007, with automatic increases of 25 cents
built in over the next three years to $7.75 on July 1, 2008; $8.00 on July 1, 2009; and $8.25 on July 1,
2010.
